Law of the Medes and the Persians

💡 But his princes said it could not be done, because, according to the law of the Medes and the Persians, no decree made by the king could be changed.

اما امرای او گفتند که این کار امکان‌پذیر نیست، زیرا طبق قانون مادها و پارس‌ها، هیچ فرمانی که از جانب پادشاه صادر شود، قابل تغییر نیست.

💡 If Daniel be faithful to his God, he will surely disobey this decree; and if the King once signeth it, the law of the Medes and the Persians saith that it cannot be altered.

اگر دانیال به خدای خود وفادار باشد، مطمئناً از این فرمان سرپیچی خواهد کرد؛ و اگر پادشاه آن را امضا کند، قانون مادها و پارس‌ها می‌گوید که این فرمان قابل تغییر نیست.
